Committee Member - Artemis Artemiou

 

Artemis Artemiou studied Biology and Psychology and received his Master's Degree in Business Administration MBA and Human Resource Management from American and British Universities. After completing his studies in 1989, he was employed by the Bank of Cyprus and worked in the field of Human Resource Management in various managerial positions at the Bank's Head Office, the Nicosia Regional Management and at the Bank’s operations abroad. From 2010 to 2015 he worked as a Special Scientist at the University of Cyprus and from 2013 to 2016 at the University of UCLan, where he taught courses in the areas of Management, Human Resource Management, Negotiation and Organizational Behavior. Since 2015, he is a Human Resources Consultant at Logicom Group. In addition to his working experience, Artemis was involved in Professional and other Associations and Clubs. He is, among other qualifications, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) of the United Kingdom, a Professional Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in the United States and is a Founding Member and has served as President of the Cyprus Human Resources Management Association. In 2008 he was named Honorary President of the Association. He has served as a member of the Board of the Cyprus Institute of Financial Services from 2005 to 2013 representing the Bank of Cyprus.
