International Human Resources Day 2019

We are delighted to provide you with details about an exciting and innovative celebration, International Human Resources Day 2019, to be launched, on 20 May 2019.

As Cyprus Human Resource Management Association, we are part of the European Association for People Management (EAPM), the European umbrella organisation for HR. This year, we are working with the EAPM to launch International Human Resources Day, a unique opportunity to celebrate the HR profession together. We want to recognise how HR connects people and organisations.
Our Association representing Cyprus is one of the 10 European countries to roll-out for the 1st time the International Human Resources Day.

The day is for everyone working in HR, people management, personnel, and anyone who is passionate about HR and people. So no restrictions! We would like to invite you and your organisation to celebrate this special day and to be part of a huge initiative all across Europe and beyond.

We encourage you to celebrate it in your company, in a way that suits you. You may think about an engaging event, a way to show how HR brings value, a communication forum with employees and managers, social media, poster campaigns, well-being, or whatever will be a good way to celebrate the work of HR for your organisation. To give you some inspiration and material you will find a complimentary Celebration Toolkit on the EAPM website, by clicking here. Here you can find logos, designs, selfie cards and ideas for fun actions to help you shape the day.
CyHRMA will celebrate with a series of actions that will run until the end of May:
1. 6th Sound Labour Relations (SLR) Network meeting in collaboration with the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB)   - 15th May 2019
2. Interviews with HR Professionals - We have interviewed the nominees of InBusiness Awards of the Best Workplace category. See the full interviews here.
3. Mini survey - Tell us what you think! - We run a mini survey on non-HR Professionals, to find out their perception on the HR Profession. Review the results here.
