Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Exchange Programme


The International Relations Committee of the CyHRMA has been conducting Projects under the European Union's Lifelong Learning Programme - Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Programmes - since 2006, partnering with HR Associations in other European countries.

So far, the IRC has coordinated Cypriot delegations to :

2006 - Thessaloniki
2008 - Malta
2009 - Estonia

In addition, since 2008, the IRC has coordinated with other European HR Associations to host delegations under the same programme.

In 2008 the Foundation for Human Resource Develpment, Malta, were hosted by the IRC for a week of meetings with various government, semi-government and private sector organisations to better understand the HR practices in Cyprus.  In 2009 we had a delegation from Estonia who had the opportunity to meet with different organisations to exchange information on HR practices.

The IRC is now preparing to host an 11 member delegation from Romania at the end of April 2010.

Apr 2010 - Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Exchange - Cyprus visit to Romania



The International Relations Committee has the pleasure to announce that the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association is organising the fourth Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Exchange programme. This exchange visit is taking place in coordination with the ‘Romanian HR Club’ from the 25th of April to the 2nd of May 2010.

Cypriot participants will have the chance to visit Romania and observe the HR practices and methodologies used by Romanian organizations within different sectors of Industry. As such, the programme provides a unique learning opportunity, which will help participants increase their knowledge and develop their skills, to benefit both personally and professionally.

The delegation will comprise of four participants and one member of the International Relations Committee who will coordinate the trip.  If you are interested to participate, please read the attached announcement and forward your application to Eugenia Papadopoulos, Administrative Officer on eugenia@cyhrma.org no later than 31st March 2010.

The visit will last the entire week of 25th April and 2nd May and include visits to ten different organisations in Romania covering a wide range of industries and all sectors (government, semi-government and private).

Leonardo da Vinci Exchange Visit - Romanian Delegation visit to Cyprus


The International Relations Committee will be hosting a delegation from Estonia, in coordination with the HR Club of Romania.  The delegation were in Cyprus for a week-long visit with the aim of gaining insight into innovational practices in Cypriot Companies in the field of Learning & Development.

The delegation will be in Cyprus from the 11th to the 18th of April 2010 to take part in this Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Exchange programme which is funded by the European Union.

Leonardo da Vinci Exchange Visit - Estonian Delegation visit to Cyprus


The International Relations Committee recently hosted a delegation from Estonia, in coordination with the Estonian Association for People Management (PARE).  The delegation were in Cyprus for a week-long visit to various small, medium and large organisations including government departments, semi-government organisations and private companies in a range of industries.

The delegation was in Cyprus from the 2nd to the 9th of November 2009 to take part in this Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Exchange programme which was fully funded by the European Union.

CyHRMA received Award for Leonardo da Vinci Mobility programme


The National Agency for European Programmes for Life Long Learning has awarded the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association an "Honourable Mention" for the excellent quality of their programme titled "Exchange of new and innovative practices in Human Resource Management"

Congratulations go particularly to the International Relations Committee who through their hard work and dedication have made the Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Exchange programme a success.
