Professional Ethics and Code of Practice Committee
The Cyprus Human Resource Management Association believes that it is important that there is a strict
Code of Professional Practice and Ethics
to which members are obliged to adhere in order to preserve the image of the profession and that of the Association. Cases of breach of professional conduct are submitted to the Ethics Committee for their review.
The Committee is comprised of three (3) Association members who are appointed by the Board of Directors following their election at the
Annual General Meeting
. This committee’s office coincides and runs parallel the Board of Directors’ office.
The Committee is responsible to fully investigate the reported infringement of the Code by the Member and decide on the disciplinary measures to be imposed. The
Board of Directors
ratifies or modifies the decision for the disciplinary measures. The Member involved has the right to appeal to the General Meeting.
The disciplinary process for handling all of the alleged cases of misconduct is explained in detail in Section 4 of the
Professional Practice and Ethics Code
.
Members of the Ethics Committee 2009-2011 are:
Mr. Marios Melanides
