European HR Award

The 1st European HR Award 2009 is being organised by the European Association of Personnel Management (EAPM), where the CyHRMA is an active member and specifically by the Congress Committee of the EAPM 2009 Congress in the Hague.  Cyprus will be one of the first countries to participate, through the efforts of the CyHRMA, offering this great opportunity to members and potential members alike. 

Participations are welcome in Greek or English, from HRM Professionals and Students in the field, who are already members of CyHRMA  by the due date of 15th December 2008.  Applications for membership can be downloaded from the Join Us section.

The CyHMRA is very pleased to announce that the Winner for the 1st European HR Award for Cyprus is Ms ELENI VASSILIOU, a young HR Professional, Full Member of Cyprus Human Resource Management Association for her essay, supported by her employer PricewaterhouseCoopers (Cyprus) and titled:

   "The Lisbon Agenda for Growth and Employment, the Threats
   to the European Social Model and the Current Financial Crisis:
   The Role of Human Resource Management Professionals"
